Life Source is in the form of the Kabbalah Tree of Life. The clusters of rods contain 10 images of myself, surrounded by 59 images of my "women of valor", women who have touched my life and helped to guide or influence my spiritual pathway. The color range of the rods and sheets of acrylic alludes to the spectrum of energy vortexes (chakras) controlling the spiritual flow through the body. Through the use of fiber optics, light representing the life force of the soul illuminates the faces on the ends of the rods, the edges of the sheets of acrylic and the cutout Hebrew letters. The reflections from one angular surface to another are intended to complete the feeling that Life Source is a three-dimensional light painting, with an energy or life force of its own.
