L'dor V'dor, which translates to Generation to Generation, is a reflection on the spiritual connections among generations of my family.  I believe that a person chooses to be born, and that we are with the same souls throughout a long journey together. There is a spiritual continuity which is passed along between those currently living and those waiting to be born or reborn. The images of persons within other persons in L'dor V'dor is not so much about the literalness of descendancy, but rather the idea that the same soul can be both the parent and child simultaneously.
