The
Deva's First Dance
was inspired from the liberation that finally came with the death
of a loved one. The piece is a personal narrative that depicts some
of the specifics of the event; more importantly, I wanted to portray
the euphoria of release that filled the room as her spirit was finally
freed from her ravaged body, which had loosened its hold after so
long.
